About Us

Join us for the 27th annual Power of the Purse! The annual fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 11:30 a.m. at the Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock. The luncheon recognizes Arkansas women who are breaking barriers and opening doors for others to do the same. The event also raises funds to support WFA’s year-round work to create economic opportunity for women and girls across the state.

This year's honorees are: 

Women of the Year - Business - Elizabeth Anderson, Senior Vice President of Farmers Bank & Trust/Executive Director of Farmers Bank Foundation

Women of the Year - Philanthropy - Sherece Y. West-Scantlebury, Ph.D, CEO of Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation

Women of the Year - Public Service - Gayatri Agnew,  Walmart Accessibility Center of Excellence, Bentonville City Council Member
